Big Band Jazz with Jakki Ford on Tuesday, January 13
Join us for “Cool Jazz in January,” an evening of big-band music by the Mile High Jazz Band with singer Jakki Ford, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Gina’s Good Life Music & Lounge, 507 N. Carson Streetin the Carson Nugget. Admission is free; requested donation is $10 per person for the musicians.
Cool Jazz in January features the 17-member band playing old favorites and new swinging, big-band selections, including “Moonlight in Vermont,” “Evergreen,” “Skylark,” and more. Jakki Ford will sing “It was a Very Good Year,” “Cheek to Cheek,” and other great tunes accompanied by the band.
David Bugli, pianist and leader of the Mile High Jazz band, said, “We’re starting the new year with an exciting jazz program at Gina’s with great performers and music arrangements.”
