at Gina’s Good Life Music & Lounge in Carson City
Join us for “April in Carson,” an evening of big-band music by the Mile High Jazz Band with singer Jakki Ford, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gina’s Good Life Music & Lounge, 507 N. Carson Street inside the Carson Nugget. The music is free, suggested donation $10. Gina’s has a night club vibe, a well stocked bar, and specialty drinks.
“April in Carson” features the 17-member band playing old favorites and new swinging, big-band selections, including “April in Paris,” “Here’s That Rainy Day,” and “I’ll Remember April.” Jakki Ford will sing “Blues in the Night,” “Jumpin’ East of Java,” “Give Me the Simple Life,” and other great tunes accompanied by the band.
David Bugli, Mile High Jazz Band pianist and leader, remarked, “I like having the band perform in Gina’s Good Life on a regular basis. Gina Rohrer has created a great place for musicians to share their talents.”
