Celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with Mile High Jazz Band, presenting “April in Carson,” on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Gina’s Good Life Music & Lounge, 507 N. Carson Street, in the Carson Nugget. For this show, the band features two great jazz singers, Jakki Ford and Dale Head. Admission is free; requested donation is $10 per person.
April in Carson features the 17-member band playing old favorites and swinging new big-band selections, including “April in Paris,” “Spring Fling,” and “Li’l Darlin’.” Jakki Ford will sing “The Man I Love,” “Get Happy,” and “Chega de Saudade (No More Blues).” Dale Head will sing “Everyday I Have the Blues,” and also solo on trumpet. There’s lots more on the program!
