The T-6 “Texan” is an advanced trainer aircraft used to train military aviators during World War II and into the 1970s.
Since 2024, Legacy Airbase has been lifting spirits and preserving memories through Legacy Flights—free 20-minute flights in a beautifully restored T-6 aircraft for veterans of all generations. Legacy Flights takes veterans soaring thousands of feet above ground, allowing them to relive their flying days or experience the thrill of flight for the very first time.
