Kilted 5K Fun Run in Virginia City

The Great Basin Scottish Highland Games is hosting a Kilted 5K Fun Run in Virginia City Nevada on April 11, 2026 from 10am to 3 PM at the Firehouse Saloon. THe 5K Fun Run will start at the Firehouse Saloon with a bagpipers. The run will go down C Street, through the Comstock Cemetery where Scottish Pioneer graves will be marked and back to the Firehouse Saloon. Following the 5k, the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans will host a whisky tasting at the Firehouse in honor of Tartan Day.
