Step Back in Time at the Foreman-Roberts House Museum Open House

The Carson City Historical Society invites the community to enjoy a special Open House at the historic Foreman-Roberts House Museum on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1207 North Carson Street in Carson City.

Often considered one of Carson City’s most treasured Victorian landmarks, the Foreman-Roberts House offers visitors a chance to experience local history up close. Guests are invited to tour the beautifully preserved Gothic Revival home, learn about the families who lived there, and discover stories from Carson City’s early years.

Built in the 1860s, the Foreman-Roberts House Museum serves as the home of the Carson City Historical Society and remains an important part of the community’s efforts to preserve and share local history.

Admission is free, and light refreshments will be served. Donations are gratefully accepted to support the Historical Society’s ongoing preservation and educational programs.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for longtime residents and newcomers alike to experience one of Carson City’s true historic treasures,” said Liz Cain, President of the Carson City Historical Society. “We invite everyone to step back in time and spend an afternoon with us.”
