Historian Jed Block’s Encore “ Carson City: Now & Then” at the Brewery Arts Center Ballroom April 27th 2025

The Carson City Historical Society and Brewery Arts Center proudly present an encore of Jed Block’s acclaimed lecture, Carson City: Then & Now, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Brewery Arts Center (449 W. King St., Carson City).
A dedicated historian and Carson City native, Block has spent over 20 years researching the city’s past. His expertise and extensive collection of historic photographs bring lost landmarks and changing landscapes to life, making this lecture a local favorite. A passionate advocate for historic preservation, he serves on the Carson City Historic Resources Commission and previously chaired the board.
