Have Fun at Dayton’s Family Safety & Resource Fair

Start your summer safely at a fun community event on June 21st from 10 am to 2 pm at 28 Enterprise Way in Dayton. The Family Safety & Resource Fair is free and will have informational booths and presentations. Learn about online safety, first aid, tool & knife safety, gun locks & proper gun storage. Vision screenings will be available for children. Watch Central Lyon County Fire Department demonstrate fire extinguishers and meet the Lyon County Sheriff K-9. Witness the smashing of watermelons and see the effectiveness of bike helmets. Live rattlesnakes will be on display so you can learn how to identify and avoid them. Healthy Communities Coalition and Lyon County Human Services will have lots of information about programs for all ages. A local author will be giving away free books for children and teens. Join us for this fun event which includes a photo booth, raffles, bounce house, games, FREE hot dogs, lemonade, popcorn and snow cones!
