“Growing Up On The Comstock” – An Informal Panel Discussion – Dayton Community Center

The next lecture in our 2025 monthly lecture series will an informal panel discussion “Growing up on the Comstock” – both the upper Comstock (Silver City) and the lower Comstock (Dayton).
Our panelists will be Laura Tennant, Gloria Manning, Lois Uhalde, Nancy Sbragia, and Joey Sbragia. We’ll hear about childhood and becoming adult from folks who grew up in this area. It’s going to be informal, so bring your questions. And if you grew up here bring your memories, as well! What did kids do for fun?
• Where did you go to the dentist?
• Does anything look the same today?
• What do you miss the most?
• What did you parents do when you got into trouble?
And anything else our panelists want to tell us… or our audience wants to ask.
This panel is going to be fun! Doors open at 6:30 pm with a meet and greet and light refreshments, with the program beginning at 7:00 pm.
