Friends of the Douglas County Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Douglas County Library will host a two-day used book sale, Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, at the Minden Library, 1625 Library Lane. A preview sale for Friends of the Library will be held from noon to 2 pm on Friday, March 13; non-members are welcome to join at the door. Members of the Friends receive a 10% discount on all purchases throughout the sale. The sale is open to the public starting at 2 pm on Friday, March 13, and continues Saturday, March 14 from 10 am to 4 pm, with a ½ price sale from 3 to 4 pm
The sale will feature hardback and paperback fiction and nonfiction, vintage, teen, and children’s books, puzzles, and more. Donations of 1 or 2 bags or small boxes of books are accepted at the library during regular hours. For larger donations, contact the library at 775-782-9841.
Proceeds from the book sales are used by the Friends to support library programs and projects for infants, preschoolers, children, “tweens”, teens and adults.
