Free Flights for Kids 8-17 Years Old

Interested in experiencing the thrill of flight in a single engine aircraft? The Carson City EAA Chapter 403 is hosting another Young Eagles event at the Carson City Airport on May 16th.This event is FREE and is open to kids ages 8-17 years of age. On the day of the event, the kids will get a pre-flight safety briefing and then get to fly in one of a variety of single engine aircraft that are owned by our Young Eagle Pilots. They will also get a Log Book to record their flights, a free membership to the EAA Young Eagles and an access code for free on-line Ground School. All kids must be pre-registered.
Online registration opens on May 9th @ 9amand closes on 5/15 @ noon. We recommend that you register as soon as it opens and it fills up very quickly. Here is the registration link:
A pancake breakfast will be available that morning at the EAA Chapter House which is located just west of the terminal. Breakfast will be available for a nominal fee from around 7:30 am to around 10 am. Breakfast includes all the pancakes and eggs one can eat, a helping of bacon or sausage, orange juice, coffee and bottled water. No reservation required.
