Free Flights for Kids 8-17 at Carson Airport

Interested in experiencing the thrill of flight in a single engine aircraft? The Carson City EAA Chapter 403 is hosting another Young Eagles event at the Carson City Airport. This event is FREE and is open to kids ages 8-17 years of age. On the day of the event, the kids will get a pre-flight safety briefing and then get to fly in one of a variety of single engine aircraft that are owned by our Young Eagle Pilots. They will also get a Log Book to record their flights, a free membership to the EAA Young Eagles and an access code for free on-line Ground School. Registration is on-line only and opens on 7/11 @ 8am. All kids must be pre-registered to attend the event. The slots fill up quickly so try to register as soon as it opens.

A pancake breakfast will be available that morning at the EAA Chapter House which is located just west of the terminal. Breakfast will be available for a nominal fee from around 7:30 am to around 10 am. Breakfast includes all the pancakes and eggs one can eat, a helping of bacon or sausage, orange juice, coffee and bottled water. No reservation required for breakfast.
