Foreman-Robert’s House Museum Open for Tours to Celebrate Nevada day Weekend with a Little Local History

November 1 @ 3:00 pm 5:00 pm

Celebrate Nevada Day Weekend with a Little Local History!
After the parade, take a short stroll and join us for a special Open House at the Foreman-Roberts House Museum on Saturday, November 1, from 3–5 p.m.
Step inside one of Carson City’s oldest and most charming homes — the 1860s Gothic-Revival Foreman-Roberts House — and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of tours, stories, and art. In the Carriage House, don’t miss the newly opened exhibit, R. Merle Trehal: Wild, Wild West—Nevada Style!, featuring stunning Western works by a beloved Nevada artist.
“Our goal is simple,” says Liz Cain, president of the Carson City Historical Society. “We want everyone to feel that this history belongs to them. The Historical Society has been leading the way for over 50 years — and we’re looking forward to 50 more!”
