Community Vigil and Rally – Hosted by Indivisible Carson City

Indivisible Carson City invites the community to a vigil and rally honoring eight people killed by ICE agents: Joan Sebastian Guerrero, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, Keith Porter, Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Silverio Villegas González, and Ruben Ray Martinez.
We gather to grieve, to bear witness, and to demand accountability. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo should be alive today, instead, his name joins a growing list of lives lost to an immigration enforcement system operating without adequate oversight or restraint.
Join us to stand with the families and communities affected, and to call for justice, transparency, and an end to the violence.
All Indivisible events share a commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and work closely with local partners to support safe and peaceful protests. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, must not be brought to this event.
