CHS Wrestling’s Annual Golf Tournament Set for June 27th

Carson High School Wrestling is calling on the community to sign up now for the CHS Wrestling Golf Tournament, set for June 27. The annual event is the program’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and spots are expected to fill quickly.
This tournament plays a major role in supporting the wrestlers throughout the season. Money raised helps cover the rising cost of tournament entry fees, uniforms, travel, team equipment, and the many other expenses that come with running a competitive high school wrestling program. As costs continue to increase, fundraising has become essential to keeping youth sports affordable for Carson families.
This year also marks the first season with CHS alumnus Justin Barlow leading the Carson High School Wrestling program. Coach Barlow has made it clear that one of his goals is to give Carson wrestlers the kind of high school sports experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.
“Our kids earn that,” Barlow said. “They work hard, they represent Carson the right way, and they deserve a program that feels special. Athletics at Carson are special because of the kids, the families, and the community behind them.”
The golf tournament gives supporters a chance to directly invest in those student-athletes. Every team that signs up, every sponsor that contributes, and every donation made helps provide Carson wrestlers with more opportunities to compete, travel, grow, and be part of something meaningful
The program is encouraging golfers, families, alumni, local businesses, and community members to get involved as soon as possible. Whether signing up a team, sponsoring a hole, donating prizes, or simply helping spread the word, every contribution makes a difference.
The CHS Wrestling Golf Tournament will take place June 27, and those interested are encouraged to register right away. Supporting this event means supporting Carson kids, Carson athletics, and the continued growth of a wrestling program built on hard work, pride, and community.
