Carson City Kiwanis Hosts Counselor Bridget Gordon

Carson City Kiwanis is excited to host Bridget Gordon as a speaker on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 12:10 p.m. The meeting will take place at the clubhouse for the Empire Ranch Golf Course. Everyone is invited to attend. Bridget Gordon works with Kiwanis as to the annual high school scholarships.
According to Carson Now: As the Lead Counselor for the district, Bridget Gordon has worked tirelessly to build a professional network and foster positive school relationships with students, their families and employees at Carson High. She maintains rapport with people of all ages, especially the “at-promise” students she primarily works with.
She is sensitive to student needs and makes appropriate referrals to ensure they receive the wraparound service they require to help them be successful in the educational environment. Her ability to personally connect with students and her talent at mentoring them on how to be successful in the educational environment is truly inspirational.
The Carson City Kiwanis Club is a service organization. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive.
