Carson City Historical Society Ice Cream Social

With a nod to tradition and a generous helping of community spirit, the Carson City Historical Society invites residents to savor a cool summer afternoon of music, laughter, and sweet indulgence at its beloved Annual Ice Cream Social this Saturday.
The festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. in the shade of the Foreman-Roberts House Park, 1207 North Carson Street, where the lively strains of the Carson Street Ragtime Band will set the perfect summertime mood. Admission is free, and for just $3, guests can enjoy a heaping scoop of old-fashioned ice cream.
The beautifully preserved Foreman-Roberts House will be open for tours, offering visitors a glimpse into Carson City’s rich past. This family-friendly gathering is more than just a treat for the taste buds—it’s one of the Historical Society’s most important fundraisers, helping to preserve and share our community’s history for generations to come.
