Carson City Everest Challenge

Muscle Powered and the Carson Senators cycling team will be hosting an Everest Challenge fundraiser on September 26th on Kings Canyon Road. An Everest Challenge entails cycling up and down the same hill until you climb the height of Mount Everest, 29,032 ft. Not all riders have a desire to bike Kings Canyon 53 times to achieve the full Everest height, so multiple ride options are available to those who want to have a more attainable goal for the day.
Riders will start as early as 3AM at the intersection of Longview Way and Kings Canyon Road. Kings Canyon Road and the waterfall trailhead parking lot will be closed to non-residents from 6AM to 6PM on the day of the event.
