OSBORNE COMMUNITY HERO AWARD: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada is pleased to announce that our 2025 recipient of the Osborne Community Hero Award is Robert Levy, Director of Investments of Whittier Trust Company. A founding member of our organization here in northern Nevada, Robert has been instrumental in BBBSNN’s growth and success in our region. By offering consistent and sound guidance as a 24-year member of our Board of Directors and executive committee; rallying countless donors, volunteers, and supporters to our mission; and committing outstanding donations of his time and treasure to our organization, Robert has steered BBBSNN toward ever-greater impact and efficacy in creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth in our community. Robert has also been a thoughtful and strategic steward of our organization’s finances and investments. His leadership has helped position BBBSNN for long-term sustainability, opening the door for transformational opportunities—most notably, the purchase of our first permanent headquarters at 600 Mill Street, creating a lasting foundation for our work in the community. We look forward to honoring Robert at Big Chefs Big Gala!
