Auditions for 2026 Polar Express Performers

The VT Railway Commission and C.J. Wilson, LLC, announces auditions for the 2026 production of THE POLAR EXPRESS(TM) Train Ride at the Eastgate Siding Depot, 4650 Eastgate Siding Road, Carson City, NV; a live, interactive event based on the film by Warner Bros.
Seeking: Actors and Singers, age 8-80, to bring the characters of the movie to life here in Carson City. Roles being cast are Conductor, Hobo, Hero Boy, Stewards, Chef’s, Waiters, Dancing Elves and the big man himself, Santa Claus! Improvisational skills are a plus. Performers are Independent Contractors of C.J. Wilson, LLC, and are paid.
Auditions will be held on September 24th, 25th, and 26th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Eastgate Siding Depot, 4650 Eastgate Siding Road, Carson City NV.
Rehearsals will begin on October 1st and held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The production will run 26 nights, Thursdays through Sundays, beginning on November 12th. There will be two different casts; Blue Cast performs on Thursday and Saturday nights; Gold Cast performs on Friday and Sunday nights. THE POLAR EXPRESS(TM) plays to over 16,000 passengers each season.
Auditioners are asked to wear comfortable shoes you can move in. No sandals or flip flops. The audition will consist of short simple dance movement, singing a Christmas carol in groups of 5, and doing a reading from the script. To prepare for the readings, the sides will be sent to you with the audition packet.
