Annual Pops Party Concert Sunday June 7th at The Capital Amphitheater

June 7 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

The Carson City Symphony’s annual Pops Party Concert will be held outdoors on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Capitol Amphitheater, between the State Capitol and Legislature buildings in Carson City. Admission is free, donations welcome.

The Symphony, directed by David Bugli and assistant director Brian Fox, will be joined on the program by the Carson Chamber Singers directed by Jordan Gotchy and guest singer Brittney May.

Music Director Bugli said, “The Pops Party Concerts are a tradition going back to 1985. We bring popular favorites and fresh material to each edition. The program this year includes tunes from Broadway shows, marches, and more, and celebrates America’s birthday.”

Seating is on the lawn. Parking is in the city garage on the corner of S. Stewart and E. Fifth Streets, and on the street. The audience is invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Snacks, drinks, and a food truck will be on site. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to an indoor location, to be announced.

This free concert is funded in part by grants from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, Carson City, and by private donations. For more information, call the Symphony at 775-883-4154 or check the web site: CCSymphony.com.
