Come for a conversation about extreme whitewater, extreme parenting, and the relationship between an evolving connection with outdoor adventure and resilience. From 6 to 7 PM at the Carson City Library.
Susan Norman’s award-winning memoir was published in June of 2025. She is a former world and national champion in whitewater rafting and kayaking. A retired hydrologist with the US Forest Service, Sue is now pursuing efforts in environmental advocacy, including using her writing as an act of resistance to the current assault on public lands.
