AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Seeks Volunteers Sign Up October 1st to December 31st.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is recruting volunteers for the upcoming tax season (February 1 to April 12, 2027) at the Carson City Senior Center. Opportunities are available for Client Facilitators, who welcome and assist taxpayers with appointments and paperwork, and Tax Counselors, who prepare tax returns after completing IRS-sponsored training. No previous tax experience is required for either position – training is provided. Volunteer typically serve 4 to 8 hours per week during tax season and enoy the satisfaction of helping seniors and other community members receive free tax preparation service.
