A Talk with NVTami at Carson City Senior Center

Tami has explored Nevada and eastern Sierra ghost towns and mining camps for 25 years. Being well-known online as NVTami, her specialities are the little-known ghost towns and long-forgotten stories of life in the Old West. Tami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology, as well as a Master of Social Work. She is a licensed therapist and has taught courses about people, families, and communities at Western Nevada College. She now presents to various historical societies and works with non-profit groups to preserve our historical resources. Her goal is to photograph and document the rich history of the area.
