25th Anniversary – SEPTEMBER 11TH REMEMBRANCE at Mills Park
September 11 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
The 25th annual September 11 Observance will take place in Carson City on Friday, September 11, at the MILLS PARK 9/11 Memorial site located at the N. Saliman Rd entrance across from the High School. The ceremony will take place near the Pavilion at the steel beam from the World Trade Center’s fallen North Tower which was donated to the city.
The Remembrance Observance is free and open to the public.

The public is invited to join and reflect on the attack in New York City, Arlington and Shanksville. The observance includes Prayer, Color Guard, remarks, keynote speakers, music and concludes with a public carnation laying ceremony at the steel beam.
Among representatives at the observance will be the Carson City Fire Department, Carson City Sheriff’s Office, and Carson City Mayor’s Office. The event is hosted by Calvary Chapel Carson City.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and allow time to park and enjoy refreshments at the event site.
