Halloween Book Launch Party at Bub’s Bookstore
October 31 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Award-winning author Sharon Marie Provost and her husband Stephen will appear from 2 to 5 p.m. at Bub’s Bookstore, 110 S. Curry St. in Carson City for a special book launch party to celebrate the release of Sharon’s new horror-thriller novel, “Heartless.”
The event will also mark the recent release of Stephen’s new apocalyptic horror novel, “DARE: the Curse of Croatoan,” and his new book on the history of horror films in silent cinema, “Silent Screams.”
As an additional bonus, attendees will be able to stop by and meet Nevada Day Parade Grand Marshal Steven S. Saylor, the artist for the cover of “Heartless” and for Stephen’s upcoming children’s book, “The Enchanted Realm of Dragons.”
The authors will do an introduction, Q&A, and readings from their works, including their collection of Halloween-themed stories, “All Hallows’ Nightmare’s Eve” and several books of Nevada-based horror stories. Ghoulish goodies will be available for the kids, as well. The event will take place on the patio just west of Bub’s Bookstore, which will be hosting other activities in the parking lot. (In case of bad weather, the Halloween party will move indoors to the shop’s Green Room.)
