Straight from the Bay Area, Me and My Uncle brings the music and spirit of the Grateful Dead to life!
For John Wheeler and Mark Harold, the Grateful Dead has been a lifelong passion. After meeting in Napa nearly 20 years ago and discovering their shared love for the music, they formed a band and began performing throughout the Bay Area.
Their musical journey has included performances with acclaimed bassist Tony Saunders, appearances with the tribute band Keystone Revisited, and the honor of performing at Jerry Garcia’s official birthday celebration in Sausalito.
Joining John and Mark are two outstanding Bay Area musicians: bassist and vocalist Tom Miller, who toured and recorded with Gregg Allman for 15 years, and longtime collaborator Steve Trovao on drums.
Together, the band delivers an authentic and heartfelt celebration of the songs, improvisation, and community that have made the Grateful Dead’s music timeless.
