The Carson City Parks, Recreation & Open Space Department is looking for passionate individuals that are experienced in the safe handling of firearms and range safety! The Range Safety Officer is a non-sworn position that performs safety duties and general maintenance to the Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that loves spending time outdoors and enjoys working with the public!
This is a part-time position, Saturdays and Sundays ONLY. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have a National Rifle Association Basic Range Safety Officer Certificate, and be willing to work weekends.
