As communities across the country prepare to celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 4th, Nevada Day Inc. has launched a new mobile app designed to help residents and visitors stay connected to the organization’s year-round calendar of events.

Available now as a free download on the App Store and Google Play, the Nevada Day app serves as a digital guide to official Nevada Day Inc. events, from seasonal family activities to the annual Nevada Day Parade.
“It’s the Nevada Day event program in your pocket, one place for every official Nevada Day event, from the springtime Easter Egg Hunt all the way to the Nevada Day Parade,” said Chantell Peck, executive director of Nevada Day Inc.
The launch comes ahead of two community events planned for Independence Day weekend as part of local celebrations recognizing the nation’s semiquincentennial, commemorating 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
