As Northern Nevada employers continue to seek skilled workers in manufacturing, logistics, industrial maintenance, and technology fields, Western Nevada College is expanding workforce training opportunities in Fernley with a new course designed to help students build foundational electrical skills.

Beginning June 16, WNC will offer ELM 110: Basic Electricity at the Workforce Training Hub at Victory Logistics, providing local residents with hands-on training that can support careers in a variety of growing industries.

The course will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9:15 p.m. from June 16 through July 30 at the Workforce Training Hub at Victory Logistics, located at 1740 N. Nevada Pacific Parkway, Suite 100, in Fernley.
