The Carson Victory Rollers, Carson City’s hometown roller derby team, opened the annual “Battle For Nevada” roller derby tournament with a win over Battle Born Derby Demons Saturday afternoon.
The win positioned CVR to play a second bout at 5 p.m. Saturday. Roller derby continues Sunday as the “Battle For Nevada” wraps up by crowning a champion.
