Another one down, and another one bites the dust.
With bouncy, rubber balls flying across two courts, Queen’s 1980 lyrics were fulfilled Friday night in a competitive and friendly dodgeball tournament hosted by the Carson City District Attorney’s Office at the Multi-purpose Athletic Center (MAC) in Carson City.
Several teams made up of Carson City municipal employees put on their best eighties costumes before facing off for “Dodge For the Cause III,” held this year to promote October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Proceeds collected at the charity competition support the Ron Wood Family Resource Center.
