Stacey Giomi.

Carson City Supervisor Stacey Giomi has filed for re-election. Giomi was first elected to represent Ward 1 in 2018 and was re-elected in 2022.

Looking ahead to another term, Giomi says his priorities include investing in a long-overdue upgrade to the juvenile justice facility and completing the final phase of the citywide corridor revitalization through the North Carson Street gateway project.

“We have accomplished a great deal, but our work is far from finished,” Giomi said. “My focus is on smart planning, responsible investment, and building a stronger, safer, more prosperous Carson City for the next generation.”

Additional goals include strengthening economic development, modernizing business and land-use codes, and ensuring long-term sustainability in road and infrastructure maintenance.

Giomi brings decades of public service experience to the role. He retired as Carson City Fire Chief in 2015 and currently serves as Director of Facilities, Security, and Emergency Preparedness for Nevada Health Centers, a statewide nonprofit organization.
