Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Tuesday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Roop Street and Winnie Lane.
The motorists advised they were moving to a nearby strip mall away from the intersection. Carson City Fire Department’s rescue team and an engine were called as there was a report of an injury. The accident was reported at 1:39 p.m.
Most of the accidents Tuesday have been weather related and have mostly been rear-end and fender-bender types of collisions. Snow and icy conditions persist around town. Motorists should keep driving to a minimum, keep ample space in between vehicles and slow down.
