Celebrating Mardi Gras!

Nevada Artists Association presents a special presentation for artists as well as the community. As the yearly celebration of Mardi Gras quickly approaches on February 17th, in New Orleans Louisiana, we thought it would be fun to share the history of this huge event here in Carson City!
Presenter and native of New Orleans, LA, Lee McMahon will be sharing the history of how Mardi Gras through visual power point as well as learning how to make a King Cake too!
Participants will all get a slice of this incredible, colorful Green, Purple and Gold cake and learn the significance of the cake and if you’re lucky, will get the tiny baby inside!
A Donation at the door is required for the cost of supplies and enjoying King Cake!
