RennerVation Foundation, founded by actor Jeremy Renner and his sister Kym Renner, will welcome foster and at-risk youth ages 8-13 to its annual Youth Camp held July 6 – July 11 at Camp Concord in South Lake Tahoe. The announcement continues the Foundation’s mission to provide foster and at-risk youth with a safe, joyful, and healing summer experience.
Now entering its third year, RennerVation Foundation’s Camp RennerVation has become a cornerstone program, offering children the opportunity to build confidence, form meaningful connections, and experience a true sense of belonging in a supportive, nature-based environment. The weeklong overnight camp is designed to meet youth where they are, combining adventure, creativity, mentorship, and emotional support.
As preparations for this summer’s camp continue, RennerVation Foundation is currently seeking therapeutic support volunteers to assist campers throughout the session. Volunteers must be able to provide mental health services within El Dorado county of Nevada. The Foundation is particularly interested in individuals with training in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, as well as experience working with foster youth. Both overnight and all-day support opportunities are available.
“Creating a safe and supportive environment is central to everything we do,” said the RennerVation Foundation team. “Therapeutic support plays a critical role in ensuring campers feel secure, understood, and empowered throughout the week.”
