Holiday with a Hero hosted its 21st annual Christmas shopping spree for nearly 200 underprivileged Carson City students Wednesday at Walmart.

Hundreds of volunteers helped wrap and deliver the gifts after they shopped with heroes from regional public safety, medical and military organizations. 

Holiday with a Hero, a partnership between Carson City’s Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department works with the Carson City School District to identify children in need for the annual event.
