From BMX to barbecue to trains, families enjoyed outdoor activities throughout Memorial Day weekend in Carson City.

Weather has gradually improved as the weekend pressed on. The Nevada state capital can expect a high of around 70 degrees Sunday, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s on Monday morning and warming up to about 78 degrees in Carson City for Memorial Day.
