Carson City Moose Lodge has teamed up again with the Carson-Tahoe Emergency Department for Children in the ER to provide another three dozen Tommy Moose dolls for their young patients.
Jenny Murray commented, “ I worked in the ER for 10 years and saw the impact a stuffed animal had on a child when they came in scared to be there. They would hug it tightly and it was very calming to them.”
The dolls have been such a hit with the children that this endeavor will be repeated quarterly to ensure Carson-Tahoe does not run out of Tommy Moose dolls.
