The countdown is on! The 7th Annual Back to School Bash hosted by the Northern Nevada Dream Center is happening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2025, at Mills Park in Carson City and preparations are in full swing.
This fun, family-centered event will serve 1,000 elementary students from Carson, Douglas, Storey, and Lyon Counties, providing backpacks, lunch boxes, school supplies, groceries, and more to help local kids start the school year ready and confident.
Families can also enjoy an evening filled with games, fire trucks, treats, resources, and uplifting community connection.
Back to School Bash is about more than just backpacks, it’s about community and reminding families that they’re not alone. It truly does take a village!
It is not too late to get involved. Community members and businesses are invited to sponsor a student for $20 or become corporate event sponsors.
