Nevada Highway Patrol reports that an aircraft landed Sunday morning on US-50 near Lyon County mile marker 23, four miles from Silver Springs Airport. No injuries were reported.
NHP Sgt. Chris Brown said the landing was reported at 7:29 a.m. Motorists can expect lane closures and delays on US-50 Sunday morning. It was a single engine aircraft that landed.
Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and be vigilant for first responders.
