UPDATE 5:27PM: The evacuation warning in the Barron Fire area has been lifted. KOLO reports that, according to Reno Fire Department, no structures were lost and there were no injuries.
UPDATE 4:38PM: Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue reports forward progress on the fire has stopped due to wetting rains across the Barron Fire area.
UPDATE: Evacuation orders have been issued due a large wildfire that broke out Tuesday afternoon on Rattlesnake Mountain in southeast Reno. Evacuation orders have been issued for the Double R Boulevard and the following areas Double Diamond Parkway, Innovation Way and Technology Way.
The fire has grown to at least 100 acres. The fire was reported at around 2 p.m. off of Barron Way.
Additional resources have been requested from surrounding agencies, including Carson City Fire Department. Structure protection is being established. The fire is threatening homes and businesses.

Evacuation point is South Valleys Library 15650A Wedge Parkway, per Washoe County Emergency Management via a Wireless Emergency Alert.
