Nevada authorities issued an AMBER alert Monday for a mother suspected in the kidnapping of her 10-month old in the Fallon area.
The alert said the 32-year-old suspect, Chelsea Daniels, is the baby’s non-custodial mother and is believed to be armed. The baby, Lyric Smitten, 10 months old, is scheduled for heart surgery Tuesday at an unknown location, the alert states.
The alert says Daniels is driving a black 2006 Ford Expedition, black in color with Nevada license plate 714-S57 and last seen at the Walmart in Fallon heading East on Highway 50. Daniels is described as 5 feet four inches, with brown hair and green eyes.
If she and the child have been seen, law enforcement says she should not be contacted as she is armed. Anyone with information on their whereabouts, should call 911 immediately.
