Salute to Young Musicians Concert – FREE

A Salute To Young Musicians
The Capital City Community Band will present its annual “Salute To Young Musicians” concert on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the Boldrick Theater at the Carson City Community Center.
Two of the featured guests are Fritsch fifth grade clarinetists Hannah Ghiglieri and Yasi Payan performing Royal Crown March.
The concert will also feature the Carson High School Winter Drum Line, the Carson Middle School Clarinet Choir and soloists and ensembles from Carson High School.. The band will perform a variety of music including marches, Music of Disneyland, Back To The Future and Fugue On Yankee Doodle.
The band was founded in 1978 by Richard Doede and is currently conducted by Nick Jacques.
The concert is free and open to all members of our community and surrounding areas.
Come and join the band in celebrating 47 years of sharing music with our community and enjoy the music of the next generation of Carson City musicians. The concert is FREE but donations are happily accepted.
