Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called early Monday evening to the area behind Home Depot and Walmart for a reported brush fire.
At around 5:40 p.m. dispatch received calls about smoke and a possible brush fire in the area behind Home Depot, in the 3100 block of Market Street.
Arriving Carson City deputies report a small brush fire to the rear of Home Depot. Carson City Fire Chief Sean Slamon reports a small fire that was being extinguished.
The cause is under investigation.
