UPDATE: The Mound House fire Tuesday was an RV fire that spread to a couple of sheds, according to a Central Lyon Fire battalion chief. There were no injuries. The cause is under investigation. The fire had put up a plume of smoke visible in Carson City.

A fire in Mound House on Tuesday afternoon has been knocked down, according to Lyon County dispatch.
The fire was on Hematite Road in Mound House. No word yet on what kind of structure burned, damages or injuries. We’ve left a message with Central Lyon Fire and will update as information becomes available.
