As day turned to night, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong stepped outside Monday evening and saw something on C-Hill. A light of some kind, and as he drew his eyes closer and looked longer, he saw what everyone is now seeing tonight as they look to the west: C-Hill is lit up.
Welcome to the holiday season, Carson City.
It is unclear who did this or how they did it, but what they did is beyond spectacular.
“Whoever thought of this idea, it’s just beautiful,” said Sheriff Furlong. “This is one of Carson City’s proudest hours.”
