Veterinary staff were on hand Saturday at Lone Mountain Veterinary Hospital during its Flip the Lip Open House, a free event featuring dental care education for pet owners.

Veterinarians and veterinary technicians walked guests through each step of identifying and treating dental disease in cats and dogs. They also gave presentations on the best methods of maintaining optimal dental health for pets.

Refreshments were served and raffle prizes awarded. The first 25 guests also received free goody bags for their pet(s).
