UPDATE: 4:14PM: Carson City Sheriff”s Office deputies have reopened Stewart and Washington streets following the traffic crash earlier this afternoon at the intersection of William and Stewart streets.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called to a vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at William and Stewart streets. The crash happened at around 3 p.m. Traffic in the area has been diverted because the vehicles involved are blocking lanes.
Two people have been taken to the hospital. Motorists are advised to stay clear of the area. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
