Carson City will hold a public information open house this coming Monday, April 4, on the proposed fiscal year 2017 budget. The open house will be at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street, Carson City.
There will be two sessions: 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Each session will begin in the Sierra Room with an overview of the budget process and a summary of the proposed budget. Afterward, the public is invited to meet with individual City Departments at stations set up in the Community Center Lobby (Public Works will remain in the Sierra Room).
Departments will have presentations highlighting their proposed budgets and the various functions they perform, answer questions and listen to ideas, concerns and suggestions for the Carson City fiscal year 2017 budget.
